Privacy Policy

As a registered Zequr user you accept this privacy policy, so we recommend that you read it carefully.

We make a commitment to protecting your privacy and promise only to use information collected about you in accordance with the laws of Denmark.

When you create a Zequr account, we ask you for certain information (for example your name, email address, gender, year of birth and your username). This information will be kept securely in accordance with our security policy and may be used to:

• open and run your account;

• provide you with an up to date, efficient, and reliable service;

• help fraud prevention;

• provide a more personal experience if your account is sponsored by advertisements.

If you choose a paid subscription, your payment will be processed by our merchant, after which we do not retain or store any of your payment details. These details are not passed to a 3rd party.

We will not share or sell your name, email address, or any other data with 3rd parties without your explicit consent. We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent.

Data registered by Zequr

In order to improve our services we may collect relevant data, such as:

• The language of the browser being used

• The user agent of the browser being used

• IP of the device being used

• The time zone

• Location – city, state, country and region

• Latitude and longitude

Cookies

In order to improve our services we may use a technology known as ‘cookies’. Cookies are a means by which information relating to your internet activity is recorded on your own devices and used by us to deliver the best possible service to you.

Your data on our servers

All your confidential data (login details, content in Zequr Safe etc.) is stored on our servers strongly encrypted. No one apart from yourself can read your data, not even the personnel at Zequr. A part of the encryption technology is your private and secret Zequr pattern, which is not stored on either our servers or on your own devices. Only you know your Zequr pattern.

Marketing communications

We will not bombard you with emails, but do need to be able to send you vital emails, such as an unlock email in case your account has been locked due to a wrong pattern being entered 5 times. We’d like to keep you informed of the developments we think will interest you, but we will not sell, trade or rent your personal information to other companies without your prior consent.

Your Zequr account

You choose to cancel your account at Zequr at any time. However, if you choose to cancel your account and delete all the data in it, you must understand that these data can not be reconstructed. Once your data has been deleted from our servers, there is no way we can help you get them back.
